We are so excited to bring you the Women & Work Summer Series, which is an online event spread out over June, July, and August.

If the coronavirus hadn’t spoiled all our plans, we would have gathered with you in Orlando this summer for our third in-person event, but since that wasn’t possible, we decided to bring the event to you. We’ll host each panelist individually so that you can receive the most content possible from each guest.

Each event will be hosted on Facebook Live on June 16, July 14, and August 18 at 7:30pm Central.

Make sure to have your questions ready for each guest. **Once we go live on Facebook, ask you question in the comments, and if yours is chosen, we’ll send you a copy of that guest’s latest book as a gift from us.**

WHITNEY CAPPS

Whitney Capps is a national speaker for Proverbs 31 Ministries and a writer for the First 5 Bible app with more than 1,000,000 downloads and users. Whitney’s first book, Sick of Me, (B & H Publishers) and bible study with video curriculum, We Over Me, (LifeWay) were released in March of 2019. She is also the co-founder of Simple Seminary.

As a bible study geek, Whitney’s delight is to dig into God’s Word for profound yet practical truth. A communicator at heart, Whitney comes alive sharing those truths with any gal who will give her even a few minutes. In her former life she served as Talent Acquisitions professional for the corporate office of Chick-fil-A.

This invaluable (and AMAZING) experience gave Whitney her love for helping women connect their passion with their purpose for the glory of God.

A girly-girl living among all boys, Whitney and Chad are raising their four sons, Cooper, Dylan, Ryder and Tate, just outside Atlanta, Georgia. Her house is wild, loud and littered with Lego’s. Whitney is addicted to shoes, jewelry, quac and Coke Zero. Additionally, Whitney served her community as her local Bible Study Fellowship Teaching Leader for several years.

MICHELE RIGBY ASSAD

Michele Rigby Assad is a former undercover officer in the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Operations. Trained as a counterterrorism specialist, Michele served her country for ten years, working in Iraq and other secret Middle Eastern locations.

Upon retirement from active service, Michele and her husband Joseph (also a former agent) joined a group of Americans who wished to aid persecuted Christians. Their efforts resulted in the evacuation of a group from northern Iraq that was featured on ABC’s 20/20 in December 2015.

Michele holds a master’s degree in Contemporary Arab Studies from Georgetown University. Today she serves as a keynote speaker, trainer, and international security consultant. She is the author of Breaking Cover: My Secret Life in the CIA and What it Taught Me about What’s Worth Fighting For.

DONNA GAINES

Donna Gaines is a Pastor’s wife, Bible teacher, author of four books, and editor of A Daily Women’s Devotional. She is a disciple-maker who fervently desires to see the lives of women transformed as they encounter God through His Word and prayer.

Embracing God’s missional calling on her life, Donna mobilizes women to practically live out their faith through both inner-city and international efforts.

She is the Founder and President of the Board for ARISE2Read, a nonprofit that focuses on literacy in the inner city. She is the mother of four and “Nonna” to 11 grandchildren. Donna enjoys Memphis Barbecue, Alabama football and anything you can douse with salsa.
